A good spray tan should look like it belongs on your skin.
Rather than taking a one-shade-fits-all approach, we consider your natural skin tone, how deep you want your tan to be and the occasion you are tanning for before selecting the most suitable formula and colour depth.
The aim is an even, streak-free finish that looks bronzed, not obviously sprayed.
BDJ uses professional tanning formulas from Moroccan Tan and Sunescape, selected for their natural-looking colour and skin-friendly ingredients.
Moroccan Tan formulas are enriched with vitamins and organic oils, while Sunescape uses natural DHA alongside vitamins, antioxidants and plant oils to help leave the skin feeling hydrated and smooth.
We’ll choose the formula that best suits your skin and the finish you want.
For the smoothest result, exfoliate before your appointment and pay extra attention to dry areas such as elbows, knees and ankles.
Any shaving or waxing should ideally be completed beforehand, giving the skin time to settle before your tan is applied.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or body oils immediately before your appointment, as these can interfere with how evenly the tan develops.
Loose, dark clothing afterwards is always a good idea too.
Once your tan has developed and you have completed your first rinse, keeping the skin hydrated can help maintain a more even fade.
Use a gentle body wash, moisturise regularly and avoid excessive exfoliation, long hot baths or anything that strips the skin too quickly.
Your therapist will let you know how long to leave your particular formula on before showering, so you can get the depth of colour you are after.

Had a lovely consultation with Lurnae. We went over all my skin concerns and discussed health concerns that could be contributing to my skins condition. From there we did a cleanse and mask where I got to trial some of the products they recommended. They worked with my budget when offering services and products. They also wrote down all the information and recommendations which is really helpful for remembering!
