With regular appointments, waxing can become an easy part of your maintenance routine rather than something you have to think about every few days.
BDJ offers a broad range of waxing services for both women and men.
Popular areas include brows, lip, chin, sides of the face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini and Brazilian areas, as well as the back, chest, shoulders, ears and neck.
Whether you’re booking one small area or taking care of several at once, we can help make the appointment quick, comfortable and straightforward.
For the best result, hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip properly, so try to avoid shaving immediately before your appointment.
Gently exfoliating the area in the days beforehand can also help remove surface build-up, but avoid aggressive scrubs or active products immediately before waxing.
On the day, arrive with clean skin and avoid applying heavy moisturisers, oils or fake tan over the area being treated.
Freshly waxed skin can feel a little sensitive, warm or pink immediately after treatment.
For a short period afterwards, it’s best to avoid excessive heat, heavy exercise, swimming, tight clothing over the area and strongly fragranced or active skincare.
Once the skin has settled, gentle exfoliation and regular moisturising can help keep the area smooth and reduce the chance of ingrown hairs between appointments.

Had a lovely consultation with Lurnae. We went over all my skin concerns and discussed health concerns that could be contributing to my skins condition. From there we did a cleanse and mask where I got to trial some of the products they recommended. They worked with my budget when offering services and products. They also wrote down all the information and recommendations which is really helpful for remembering!
